Mrs. Claus Gift Guide

Every year, Mrs. Claus brings gifts for the family on Christmas Eve. We leave for Christmas Eve church service and then come home to a few presents under the tree (sneakily placed by Scott). She always leaves pajamas, a book and a family game. I thought I'd share some suggestions for fun Mrs. Claus gifts today.

Matching Christmas PJs

There are few things I love more in the world than making my family wear matching pajamas. Right now the girls also love it so the only Grinch in the family is Scott who grudgingly goes along with my Christmas plans.

These were some considerations for this year's matching pajama sets:

Books

The girls LOVE books and I often can't give them just one. This year they are getting two books each from Mrs. Claus because of her inability to give just one or twelve books. At Molly's school's book fair, I found the cutest book called Flora and the Flamingo. Maggie is obsessed with Tacos so when I saw this new Tacos!: An Interactive Recipe Book (Cook In A Book), I had to snag it! I mean who doesn't love Tacos!

My favorite gift though is the My U.S.A. Road Trip Personalized Storybook from I See Me. I sent the company photos of the girls and they sent back the My U.S.A. Road Trip Gift Set which included a personalized storybook and USA map. I can't wait to hang the maps in the hallway outside the girl's room and help them scratch off the states they've visited.

For Scott, I'm getting him an art book and The Art Book: New Edition, Mini Format and What Are You Looking At?: The Surprising, Shocking, and Sometimes Strange Story of 150 Years of Modern Art look pretty compelling. He loves browsing art books so I'm always looking for new ones for him.

While it seems silly to buy gifts for oneself, I never step back from buying books for myself. I've had Wonder and The Chalk Man: A Novel along with The Rules of Magic: A Novel (The Practical Magic Series) so I'll probably get myself one of them or all of them.

Family Game

There is a restaurant we go to that has Hasbro Connect 4 Game and the girls always play it forever. I usually have to force them to leave it behind. We also love Candy Land 65th Anniversary Game and this new game called Silly Street - The Award Winning Game That Gets You Up & Moving & Creative & Just Plain Silly looks like fun. I See Me also offers personalized games like Our Family's Race Across the U.S.A. Personalized Board Game. We have one on the way and I can't wait to see it!

Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links which means if you buy something from a link, I receive a very small percentage back. I See Me was gracious enough to provide books, maps and games for my family to test.
