The End of 100 Days of Summer

Even Mermaid Fairies go to the beach #100DaysofSummer2015

We had 100 Days of Summer and they were awesome! We swam until our hair was a tangled mess. We played in the backyard while our garden blossomed. We went on many, many, many road trips and visited the Oregon Coast twice. We were lucky enough to go to Suncadia twice and basically conquered traveling with two kids this summer.

My crazy family! #100DaysofSummer2015

We made memories until we couldn't make any more. We ate fantastic food, enjoyed our summer harvest and had ice cream for dinner more times than we could count.

Hotel Lounging #100DaysofSummer2015

We climbed trees, road bikes, swung on swings and visited so many parks. We forgot about schedules and found relaxation. We slept in and got up early. We went to bed late and early.

We went to the State Fair, ate our weight in corn dogs and funnel cake and blew our minds by seeing horses in person.

100 Days of Summer Starts NOW!

Freshly Harvested Carrots #100DaysofSummer2015

My friend, Francesca is hosting a 100 Days of Summer photo challenge and it started today! Mine stated with some fresh from the ground carrots. All of my veggies are really starting to come in and I'm so excited. We've already had salads with lettuce from the garden. Maggie enjoyed harvesting it with me. She's getting to be such a good little helper.

Come join us! Document your 100 Days of Summer!

Summer Dreaming

Path #fmsphotoaday Molly on the path to swimming lessons.

Every morning when I get up for barre3 class, the sun has risen just a bit higher in the sky. The birds are happily chirping and I can feel summer approaching.

Beach Running

I have great dreams for this Summer. I want to swim with my kids, hike all the parks, go on so many adventures and just enjoy the easy days of Summer. I'm pretty sure we'll eat most of our meals outside on the back patio, spend our afternoons playing in the plastic blow-up pool and find time to enjoy our time.

Strawberry Plants

There will be a week at the beach, a long weekend in the mountains and I'm hoping for at least one other weekend trip full of adventure. I'm planning weekly adventures with the kids. We'll explore farms, parks, Jetty Island and maybe even go berry picking. I can't wait to taste the fresh strawberries. I'll be documenting it all with the 100 Days of Summer project. I can't wait for Summer!
