Day 122 (122/365.2) Quilt-a-holic

I've been busy quilting my quilt up. I quilted for about 4 hours on Sunday and finished about 80% of my quilting. I had to stop though when I noticed my shoulders were at my ears and aching.

I can't wait to finish this project. It's so beautiful!

Beach Fence

My last Hawaii photos were uploaded earlier this week and so now I sit by the rainy window waiting for summer to arrive. I know it will! I KNOW IT!

Unfilled Pothole

The mayor has declared open season on the city's potholes and promised to fill them within 48 hours. I reported this one on Monday and it is now Friday. I'm sad to report that it is still a pothole.

More information here.

Simply Breakfast

My breakfast today was simply delicious on this simply wonderful Friday. My company has gone to half day Fridays which means the office closes at 1 p.m. and I get to frolick all afternoon! I can't wait.

Scott and I took a drive up to Chuckanut Drive where I took this polaroid shot. This may be one of my most favorite polaroid shots.

Brittney's Garage - Polaroid

I checked on a friend's dog this week and so I headed over to her house bright and early to let him out. Unfortunately he wasn't too hot on my visit so early in the mroning so instead of the delightful romp I envisioned, I was outside alone while the dog snoozed inside. I took the opportunity to try out my Land Polaroid again. This time I was able to get a clear picture by laying the camera on the deck railing and not moving. I guess this won't be a hand-held Polaroid since this camera needs a long exposure time. I love this creepy garage which I found out is actually her neighbors and not hers. Darn it! I really wanted to poke around this place.

Downtown at Night

This is possibly my favorite picture from this week. It was a hard week to take photos due to the cloudy, grey weather but I did get this one! Happy Friday!

Eye Candy Friday - Holga Style

Bunny Holga

Last weekend, Holga fans from the Seattle Flickr group meet up at the Pike Place Market to test out their Holgas. I had so much fun and I still have so much to learn about this toy camera.

Lucky Laundry

Heather Champ recently gave away rolls of expired Lucky Film which is produced in China and I was lucky enough to get a roll. I ran out and snapped photos with my film camera and I learned that I need to use film more! I've lost my touch. But still this was my favorite picture from the roll.

Day 23 (23/366) Bettie Lou Breaks Out

Bettie Lou busted out of prison today and quickly made her way to the bathroom where I found her shaving her beard and shaping up her "Weasel" mustache. I think she might have a crush on Scott. I'll be watching her.

Day 8 (8/366): I Can Haz Holga!

For the last Eye Candy Friday of 2007, I present my new camera, a Holga. I must have been a very good girl this year because Santa (ok Scott's Dad) brought me a Holga Starter Kit with a four color flash, film and a great Holga book.

A Holga is an inexpensive, medium format 120 film toy camera. Some wonderful Holga pictures can be found in the Holga Flickr Group.

TP Dispensers

Last night at The Garage, I found myself taking photos of the TP dispensers. For some reason, I find it funny that instead of a big dispenser, The Garage has 4 smaller dispensers in their bathroom stalls.

December 10, 2007

I love visiting Pike Place Market when it's not full of tourists and other Pike Place Market Lovers. When my office lost power on Monday, I was able to nip over to the market for a few minutes. Beautiful.
